Sapodilla (Sapota) nutrition facts

Sapota or sapota (chikoo) is another favourite tropical fruit in parentage with mango, herb, jack, etc. Sapota composes of softened, easily eatable pulp prefabricated of cordiform sugars equal levulose and saccharose.

Sapota is a equatorial tracheophyte, fruit-bearing tree belongs to the ancestry of Sapotaceae, in the genus: Manilkara. Scientific name: Manilkara zapota.
